Elizabeth was born in St. Mary's County, Maryland to Azariah Watson and Susannah Pratt. In 1793 she was living in Clarke County, KY and married Edmund Green. Around 1800 the family moved to Christian County, KY and farmed about 10 miles north of Hopkinsville, KY. In 1828 they moved to Graves County, KY. And in the 1840's they moved to a farm near Hickory Hills, MO. Her husband, Edmund, died in 1844. She was living with her son, William E. Green in the 1850 census. She lived the remainder of her life with he grandson, Fidelio Williams. She is buried in Enloe Cemetery.
