Christina was born in Bavaria per all of her census records. The date of her birth varied on each census record. The date of 1832 is from her gravestone. Since she was born in Bavaria her last name of Williams is probably an anglicisation of her German name (possibly Wilhelm). Christina married Johann Sebastian Ludwig. The family moved from Albany after the 1860 census and lived in Detroit. From Detroit they moved to Tiffen, Ohio (her son, Francis is buried there). By 1870 they had moved back to Albany. They lived at 47 2nd Ave until the time of John's death. Christiana then lived with her son, Louis at #2 First Ave. At this time her parents and city of birth are unknown. She is buried in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery next to John.
